Thanks for the great weekend.  I had such a nice time...stitching, eating, laughing and a little un-stitching too. If you didn't hear we are meeting next at Hazen's house on December 22nd.  Makes the winter more endurable when we can spend some of it together!  Until then...happy stitching.

It's 4:36 am and I've pried myself out of bed. Actually woke up before my alarm which is crazier yet. What were we thinking??!?

Hey, wake up....at 5am Friday?????  Longview sew and vac is having a Black Friday sale.  From 6-7 all fabric, books, etc is 40% off!  Wanna go??? I do! We could plan to meet at the happy hour of 5:25 and drive down together...then grab some Starbucks!  Come on.....you know you want to!

This is my fabric for the mystery.  OK I know, not hundreds of fabrics from my stash. I love the look of stash busting projects, but honestly, they make me NUTS.  I have a hard time knowing which one to use...will they touch another one like it???  So I have made an executive decision (sometimes I am the big guy...don't tell my backbone, it has to stand upright some time.  This is my time)  Enough ranting??? We won't tell Bonnie till the end, IF it looks good...(stinking backbone, shrinking already)!  I love them (the fabrics) so here I go with the bipolar time machine again......hurry up! I wanna sew with you peeps!!!!

Update on sewing room

Ok, here are a couple of shots of my room. It's not perfect, but its totally work-in-able!!

The Dino quilt still needs a wide red border to complete the top.

Today's project

...is not too exciting. My sewing room is a bit out of order. Since Bell told me they aren't going to visit the new grandbaby until January and won't need the quilts until then, I am spending a bit of today straightening up my sewing room so that I will WANT to be in here! (I got a little distracted by this computer in the corner!!) I am hoping that a tidy work area will help me be more productive. (I'm trying to ignore the 100 or so papers in my school bag that I need to correct!)

Maybe if I tell you that I might WILL post pics when I get done today, I may just be a bit more motivated to get it done! So get ready to see my messy creative space!

another month....

I can't believe another month has come and gone.  My thoughts about time seem to be bipolar. Sometimes I want it to speed up and sometimes I want it to slow down. It is Saturday night and can't it please slow down!
Block number three is pressed. No Amos mishaps this month! Hope your day has been stellar.

Don't know if this will help-not all computers show the same thing-at the top right of the blog, click on new post... then, again at the top,glide over to the right after link; it should say insert image-then you can upload from pics on your computer. Someone else will have to help you do it from the phone. I have a dumb phone!
