New Secret Sister Round is Starting!

I just updated and printed out our new questionnaire for the new secret sister round. I added a spot for a "favorite service/meeting memory" to mix things up a bit.

Reminder: Secret Sister Reveal is Saturday, Sept. 22

I'm so excited! I have my secret sister's gift pretty much ready for Saturday, Sept. 22 at 2:00 at Gloria's house. I am POSITIVE that she is going to like it! Wahooo!

Our swap and sew day is exactly ONE MONTH AWAY! Get those gifts, show-and-tell, and projects to work on ready!

Next Quilt Day Scheduled

Our next quilt group day will be Saturday, Sept. 22 at 2:00 at Gloria's house. We will reveal ourselves to our secret sister and sew too!

Quilt Day was a Success

Jeannie finished her S quilt top and brought it to show. I brought the quilts I've been working on. Lots of gifts were exchanged! Fun times...

Secret Sister - TOMORROW!

Ok, ladies. Tomorrow is our next quilting day. We're meeting at Gloria's at 2:00. Don't forget to bring:

• a project to work on (if you choose to)
• your first gift for your new secret sister
• a snack to share :o)

Secret sister alert!

So nearly all of the secret sister participants have their new sister assignments - or will soon. I am so excited cooking up plans for my secret sister. (That was VERY figurative language... There is NO cooking going on here. Haven't even done dinner yet!) We will meet at Gloria's on August 4 at 2:00, so be sure to get that on your calendar ASAP! Gloria's "ugly chicken" quilt - Now, now... don't get all offended! This really IS for an ugly fabric contest! Really!! I'm not making that up. That tail feather fabric was deemed "OFFICIALLY UGLY" by the local quilt shop. It's not so bad as a chicken butt!

Who must be the official productive quilter of the day? Gloria had these THREE quilts to show that were new to us all. Sheesh! That's a lot of quilting! Good for her.
