Sewing Marathon

Well, I'm back from my trip to find the sun in Mexico. A fun time was had by all. I'm ready for some serious sewing. Hope you are too. I'm cooking a turkey for Thursday. So if anyone wants to bring things to go with it, that would be great. I will do mashed potatoes and gravy. For those on a select diet, you should probably bring your own food. Anyway we will have a great time, and I will try to keep the beasties at bay. :o)

A bit of weekend sewing...

I got my strips all cut and ready for the swap. 96 strips!

I did a bit of sewing on Jorey's quilt. Remember the 100-piece blocks? Just three to piece! Almost ready to quilt this one. 

It's pinned up in the center, so you can't see the whole thing. That's most of it, though!

Just a friendly reminder about our log cabin strip swap.... It's coming up soon! We will meet at Cindie's over the Thanksgiving weekend. Remember that the swap will happen at 2:00 on Friday, November 29. I am working on cutting my strips RIGHT THIS MINUTE! Exciting for me to get to spend some time in my sewing room. Happy sewing!

Strips....

I have been cutting strips for our big swap.  I think I'm half done.  That is if I don't find a few more yummy colors.  I love these colors and can't wait to see how wonderful all our strips "play" together.
