Yay!  It's finally here.  Our sew day!!!  Woot woot. Can't wait to see everyone. Karen and Adrian I'm missing you today and wishing you stitching and laughing and way too much munching at your new homes!  

Needing a book

Does anyone have a book by Judy Martin, called knockout blocks and sampler quilts? I would so like to borrow it.

New thimbles??

Check my new thimbles out. They aren't for pushing the needle but pulling the thread. It works awesome!  I'm so excited. Maybe I will learn to hand quilt finally.  Yay

Another finish this week

So I stayed home on Monday since I wasn't feeling well. I lazed around on the sofa and got this binding done. It was nearly all scraps from my scrap bins.

I think I can finally say this cat fabric is finally gone. I think. It seems like I find more every time I think it's gone. 

I even used it in this scrappy binding so it'll really be gone!

A finish to share

Tracy's nephew and his wife are having their first baby. Their decorating theme is unique. Here is what she shared to help me get an idea of what they are doing:

She said black and white, gold and silver, arrows and kind of tribal. Ummm, I had to go shopping! I didn't have fabric in my stash that would fit that description.
