Stars In His Crown

When I was making this quilt (several years ago) I thought to myself, this really isn't me.  But as Gloria told me one time, the one she wasn't sure of was the one she came to love the most. I loved it and I hated it because the pieced crowns are paper pieced.  It's not big...only 60 x 74. I was astonished and happy with the way it turned out.  Of course, the quilting by Liz made it the quilt it is today. Flannel on the back. What's everyone else working on...come on share.  See you all soon I hope.

  1. This is beautiful! I haven't been working on much. I always plan to sew a lot in the summer but it seems I don't do much of anything. I'm trying to get my double wedding ring finished and a basket block quilt done. I think we should schedule a day! My house is open. Not a lot of room for machine but lots of room for hand stitchig with a few machines.

  2. Tina, that's beautiful! I'd love to see it in person. I've been doing lots of quilting this summer. I hope to have bindings on a few done soon. I have been working on seven quilts this summer that were at various stages. It was my huge goal to get those seven done. I have bindings on all of them and just three left to hand stitch. Pics to come soon!

    1. I remember that fabric, it's so beautiful, good way to use it. I have a table or two, but no chairs. I would definitely come sew. :-)
