When I was making this quilt (several years ago) I thought to myself, this really isn't me. But as Gloria told me one time, the one she wasn't sure of was the one she came to love the most. I loved it and I hated it because the pieced crowns are paper pieced. It's not big...only 60 x 74. I was astonished and happy with the way it turned out. Of course, the quilting by Liz made it the quilt it is today. Flannel on the back. What's everyone else working on...come on share. See you all soon I hope.

Quilted pouches
I try to make or buy a little something for the three daughters of my cousin who hosts our family reunion every year...as a tiny thank you for all they do for us. So, today I made these little quilted pouches that I plan to fill with candy for the girls.

Two Fabric Quilt - Was it YOU?
Recently, someone in our group was working on a two-fabric quilt. I remember thinking that I loved it, and I had mentally picked out some fabrics to do it. Now I can't remember what it was. I am thinking it MAYBE was Cindie?? Anyone?
Scrappy Fun
So, I've been inspired by this post: http://crazymomquilts.blogspot.com/2015/06/scrap-vortex-qal-week-one.html

This blogger is using small scraps - sort of like Nancy Chong's Crumb Quilt - if you ever saw that at Quilter's Junction many moons ago.
Another blogger (http://thecozyquilter.blogspot.com/) was inspired by her too, and she has this flimsy done:

So, I have started a couple of these - one more flowery and grown up, and this baby/kid boyish one:

Mine isn't quite 24 inches square yet...but I'm adding on. Some pieces are bigger, some are really small. But it is helping me make a dent (albeit a small one) in my scrap drawers.
