How does  Saturday October 3rd sound to everyone for our next sew day? Give me some feed back and if it looks like it'll work, I'll reserve community room. Thanks

My winter project.....I just got it all basted together.  Looks like I'll be working on this for a few months. I want to hand quilt it. I guess it is just a "scrappy". I don't remember the name of the pattern.

There is a wonderful banquet room here, at apartments where I live.(Centralia) Problem is there is only one 5 foot table and one 3 foot table. Also, there are only 4 hardback chairs. I would have to find at least one more table and several chairs in order to accommodate even 6 or 8  quilters. There is a love seat and two overstuffed chairs that would seat at least 3 that wanted to do hand work. It's something to think about. Lots of room but not many tables or chairs.

Stars In His Crown

When I was making this quilt (several years ago) I thought to myself, this really isn't me.  But as Gloria told me one time, the one she wasn't sure of was the one she came to love the most. I loved it and I hated it because the pieced crowns are paper pieced.  It's not big...only 60 x 74. I was astonished and happy with the way it turned out.  Of course, the quilting by Liz made it the quilt it is today. Flannel on the back. What's everyone else working on...come on share.  See you all soon I hope.
