The rest of the bags

I got the second bag done last night and decided that these bags are so much easier than the one I started a couple of weeks ago (with the hand stitching on the binding yet to do) that I should just make a third bag of this style. That way I could be done instead of doing the binding stitches there. And, so that the bags are generally alike so no one (not that these girls would!) could complain.

So, again, the first bag:

So, here are the other two:

Yay for completed projects....on schedule!

2013 tally so far:

First bag of three finished...

I'm working {at nearly the 11th hour} on bags as gifts for my mom's niece who hosts our family reunion. I have another one nearly done, but it's a different design and has some hand stitching to do to bind the edges. For now, see this one that's done?

My apologies!

I found on my ipad yeasterday a bunch of gmail which I didn't know I had. Several people had asked me to include them in my circle of friends. You're all added in now. I'm sorry...... I never look at my gmail. But I will try to remember to look from now on!

Our gift!

I love this!  Every time I sew on the blocks we all have made I think about our "family" and hope to do a million more quilts and things together.

Today's project

After quilting the kimono quilt, I loaded this little baby quilt. Just got the binding stitched on after quilting it. Still need to stitch it down.

Oh, Deeeeeeaaaaaaaannnnnnnaaaaaaa....

Look what's coming home!

Thanks Hazen!

Thank you Hazen for a great weekend of fun and furious sewing!  The laughter was good for me.  Can't wait to do it again.  To those who couldn't make it...we MISSED ya!  Our next sew day is August tenth at Adrianne's.

Roslie's quilt: Mission Accomplished!

We surprised Dennis and Heather with their fabulous quilt Saturday evening at Hazen's. I think we pulled off the surprise. The best part was their reaction. They clearly enjoyed the quilt. Don't you just love it when the recipient is genuinely happy to receive a quilt? Love that.
