Stars In His Crown

When I was making this quilt (several years ago) I thought to myself, this really isn't me.  But as Gloria told me one time, the one she wasn't sure of was the one she came to love the most. I loved it and I hated it because the pieced crowns are paper pieced.  It's not big...only 60 x 74. I was astonished and happy with the way it turned out.  Of course, the quilting by Liz made it the quilt it is today. Flannel on the back. Quilted pouches

I try to make or buy a little something for the three daughters of my cousin who hosts our family reunion every year...as a tiny thank you for all they do for us. So, today I made these little quilted pouches that I plan to fill with candy for the girls. 

I decided to keep this one, so I made four instead of three. ^^^
