- an electric wine bottle opener (as if I drink enough wine to justify it... but it's COOL!)
- a pair of jeans for Tracy
- a quilting ruler for me.
A few minutes ago, there was a knock at the door. It was the mailman. He handed me a package. I told Elijah that I couldn't imagine what it could be... I haven't ordered anything else lately. But it was addressed to me, so YIPPEE even though I wasn't expecting anything.
Ok, so here is where I just have to say that life has been really, really hectic lately. I'll think I'm handling it all pretty well, and then I'll realize that I forgot to do something I said I would do, or whatever. But, I digress....
Anyways, back to today's package. You probably guessed it already. There in that huge, flat package was a Companion Angle Ruler - protected as well as Fort Knox. That big old package surely protected that oh-so-elusive BLASTED acrylic ruler that I was CERTAIN I misplaced recently.
Guess I better get back to cutting now that I have the right ruler to cut the "geese" to go with that pile of "wings" I cut earlier. Good grief.
Hehe...I ran to Momma Made It and just saw these posts. I am so glad you got yours today, kinda glad your not done with them yet either.....I have not even started yet. Soon, soon.
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious Candace you and Deana, sure can make a person cheer up when you read your articles. I'm trying to get the house in shape before Jim's surgery, so I'm not getting to much done on the flying geese. Have Fun!!!
