My Day... not sewing, but not too bad

My brother and his family left this morning. After the goodbyes and comforting Savannah - who was very tearful and so, so sad that they had left - I got myself together and headed to the dentist. Ugh, those 7:00 am appointments are dreadful! My class was full of sweet kiddos that had sentiments such as, "I really missed you, Mrs. Robinson!" and "I made you this picture during vacation." and so on. They were pretty good all day. We got lots done.

I left work at 4:00 - maybe a record for me! Started a load of laundry and did a bit more than 2 miles on the treadmill. I really forced myself to do it, but the rich eatin' we've been doing made my shirt a bit snugger than I remember it being before.

Thankfully, we have leftovers so I don't have to cook. I'm hoping to get the last binding done on the McDaniel quilts so I can concentrate on the mystery. I do have all of the cutting done since I snuck in the sewing room to get those things taken care of whenever I could. I hope to catch up with you all soon!
