A little of this, a little of that...

I got the first installment of Bonnie Hunter's new mystery done and stored away. There won't be new instructions until the may/June issue of Quiltmaker. So the pieces are in a plastic tub until needed.

I put together the tumbling block center of the Berenstein Bears baby quilt top. The side borders are on, have to sew on the top and bottom. No real plan for this one yet, but I'm sure it'll find a home sooner or later. Sewed with Bonnie this morning a bit on QuiltCam. It was the first time I've been able to catch it at the right time. Kinda fun...

I also worked on Elvis' binding. About halfway on that. Getting set for a busy month, so I'm sure the sewing will slow wayyyyyyyyy down!

I got notice from the library that Jennifer Chiaverini's new book had arrived for me, so I started reading Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker. No talk of quilting in it thus far. From what a read on the cover, I think this is quite a departure from her past books. Very similar in that its historical fiction, but more historical than others she has done, if that makes sense. I'm somewhere in the third chapter at this point.

Well, I'm late for bed. Hoping that this full week will mean things can be more routine at school, making it smoother. I can hope, right?
